When someone joins FCFL as a dues-paying member, they should be added as a member on the wiki so that they can create and edit pages.

When someone ends their FCFL membership, it is *not* necessary to remove them as a member from the wiki.

You must be a Wiki Admin or Board Member to add/remove wiki members.

Adding a Member to the Wiki

  1. Ask the member to create an account at fatcatfablab.miraheze.org.
  2. Go to Special:UserRights, enter their username, and click "Load user groups".
  3. Tick the checkbox next to "fcfl_members" and click "Save user groups".

Note: If the user creates an account at miraheze.org, they must then visit fatcatfablab.miraheze.org with the account, otherwise their username won't show up on Special:UserRights. If they create the account at fatcatfablab.miraheze.org, their username will show up immediately.

Removing a Member from the Wiki

  1. Go to Special:UserRights, enter their username, and click "Load user groups".
  2. Un-tick the checkbox next to "fcfl_members" and click "Save user groups".
