=== Tools and Materials ===

* Tools/resources must stay on the premises so that other members may use them. Removing tools/resources from the space without authorization from a member of the Board of Directors is theft.

* The Board of Directors may authorize the temporary removal of a tool/resource for purposes relevant to organizational business.

=== Lab Cleanliness and Safety ===

* Clean, Maintain, Organize, Improve. Always leave the space better than you found it.

* All members are expected to maintain a safe and clean environment at all times.

* Don't catch fire, set others on fire, or set anything on fire which has not been designated or designed to be on fire.

* While you are using FCFL’s space, you are responsible for your personal property. FCFL will not be responsible for any lost or stolen items.

* FCFL is not a storage facility, personal property left at the space that does not follow these rules, will be considered donations.

=== Presence ===

* Extended inactivity and leaving projects and materials in FCFL storage and work areas can be detrimental to our mission and prevent others from using the space. If you plan to be gone for an extended period of time, please arrange to pick up your project and materials beforehand.

* Please don’t sleep at the lab. Naps are fine, but using the space for overnight or permanent sleeping arrangements is not permitted.

* We encourage you to bring guests!

* Guests must be accompanied by a FCFL member at all times (especially guests under the age of 18).

* You are responsible for your guests while they are in the building. FCFL reserves the right to restrict access to guests in the event such access or use of FCFL’s space violates this Code of Conduct or the terms of your membership agreement.

* Guests may only use tools requiring certification (Laser and CNC) if they are certified.

* FCFL digital spaces include Slack, email, Trello, our Wiki, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other digital forums. At FCFL we frequently interact and communicate on these platforms.

* You should hold what you say on Slack to a higher standard than you would in person.

* Our Code of Conduct applies in these spaces and violation of the policy will lead to enforcement actions defined later in this document.
