Reimbursements Joe K and Will: $142 Kayle Probably roughly ~$100 Email List BCC all to come to open house Joe Stilin to reach out to members to see if anyone wants to take over the newsletter, asking if they would like to be ‘outreach committee’ lead.
New Rent Lease
Can choose 1 or 2 year 7k for next year 7.25k year after that VOTE: Joe K brings to floor motion to sign a two year lease at the above rates, when available to sign OUTCOME: Approved unanimously
Workshops payments
- Plan moving forward is to provide best practices for workshops teachers to schedule and collect their own payments for worksops.
Welding classes
- Member usage ‘minutes’ will be counted like Laser & CNC. Allotted minutes per month, then time overages.
- Consider open hours like laser? Damon is thinking no, for right now at least.
- David will set up the reservation calendar.
Member issue
- [redacted] member reported (verbally) about another member’s unwelcome comments or opinions being voiced in the lab.
- Awaiting a written email with details about the conversation.
- Discussion led to asking Meetup organizers to add a boilerplate disclaimer at the bottom of their post with something to the effect of ‘all attendees agree to read and abide by all FCFL Rules (link) and code of conduct (link)’.
- Need to add a Wiki page with all the necessary information about hosting a meetup at FCFL.
- Include boilerplate messaging
- Should include steps for Meetup host to take in case of misbehavior or complaints by attendees.
Bylaws
- VOTE: Joe K bring motion to vote on new ByLaws version
- OUTCOME: Approved
Purchases
- We need a new printer (Brother is flaky)
- Budget approved for new printer ($120)
