Biotech Without Borders
- Proposed partnership opportunities:
1. Biotech w/o Borders dual Membership: if you're a FCFL Member, you can be a BTWOB Member for 50% off. FCFL would verify the dual Membership. 2. Ellen has a cool project idea and will apply for the next FCFL Maker Residency cohort (beginning in July). 3. Collaborative projects between FCFL and BTWOB
- Next Steps: A FCFL-BTWOB Demo Day. Ellen to create a presentation to give.
Joe K Brings to floor vote to implement: Members of FCFL who are also members of BTWOB will get 50% off membership at BTWOB. Outcome: APPROVED
VLA Update
- Joe to schedule meeting with their lawyers.
Ex-Member unauthorized lab access
- We have an unauthorized ex-member coming into the lab outside of open hours
- Actions: check cameras, email to person in question, email to members reminding them to bring their cards and make sure to talk to anyone they let into the lab.
Discuss new membership tier for teachers
- Proposed: $25 off per month for teachers + free large bin ($60 value)
- Joe K brings to floor Vote to implement the above
- OUTCOME: Approved
- Next steps: make new Price Set for Teacher
