Onboarding/Offboarding Wiki Admins

When the board decides to appoint someone as a Wiki Admin or remove someone from a Wiki Admin post, follow the instructions on this page. You must already be a Wiki Admin (i.e. a Bureaucrat) to follow these instructions.

Making a Member a Wiki Admin

  1. If they do not yet have a wiki account, see Onboarding/Offboarding Wiki Members to add them.
  2. Go to Special:UserRights, enter their username, and click "Load user groups".
  3. Tick the checkboxes next to "bureaucrat" and "administrator" and click "Save user groups".

Removing a Member's Admin Rights

  1. Go to Special:UserRights, enter their username, and click "Load user groups".
  2. Un-tick the checkboxes next to "bureaucrat" and "administrator" and click "Save user groups".
